Emerging filmmaker from Greece, working in dark psychological storytelling, visual narration, suspense, and atmospheric tension.
A selection of scenes, moods, and visual storytelling moments from my film work.
Yorgos Keramydas is an emerging filmmaker from Greece, currently studying at the Hellenic Open University in the Film Writing, Practice and Research programme. Alongside his studies, he has developed a fully hands-on approach to filmmaking, creating student and independent short films from initial concept to final image. His work often extends beyond the requirements of academic exercises, turning assignments in directing, cinematography, and editing into complete short films with their own narrative, visual identity, sound design, color grading, music, posters, and festival submissions. Working across multiple stages of production has shaped his approach to filmmaking: writing, cinematography, editing, sound, color, music, and visual presentation are treated as parts of the same cinematic construction.
Selected student and independent short films, including festival-recognized work and recent projects.
Working across writing, directing, cinematography, editing, music, sound, color grading, and visual presentation, I develop each project as a complete cinematic work.

Comments on direction, cinematography, editing, sound design, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.
A fantastic surprise: full of atmosphere, strong performances, expressive sound design, and a distinct Lynchian mood in a rural setting.
The work moves beyond a simple exercise and becomes a complete, personal cinematic piece.
Excellent direction, careful cinematography, and sound that unfolds the plot beautifully.
A very strong and highly relevant work. The cinematography is excellent, as is the expression of the central idea.
